March 23, 2024 – The weather was cool in the morning but warmed up towards noon. Perfect for tailgating. Twenty tailgaters showed up and quickly displayed their cache of equipment. Everything from amplifiers to tubes was for sale. Sellers as far away as Corpus Christi showed up thanks to Doug, N8IQT talking it up on the SADRC net
Dec 3rd, 2022- Despite nasty looking weather, the 3rd tailgate at Encino Library went off without a hitch. The weather cooperated and it didn’t rain, the coming “cold front” forced a early closing as visitor traffic slowed and tailgaters were getting “frost bite” Not the 100+ degree weather we have been used to having.
