The San Antonio Radio Club sponsors two annual $1,000 scholarship for an Texas ham radio operator attending a accredited college, university or trade school . The scholarship is administered by the American Radio Relay League (ARRL) Foundation.
All applicants must be active, FCC-licensed hams, and must complete and submit the online application on the ARRL website. Applicants must also forward a pdf copy of their academic transcript(s) from their most recently completed school year to foundation@arrl.org by the date shown below. Applications without accompanying transcripts will not be considered.
Applications for the 2023 scholarship process must be received between midnight September 1, 2022 and 11:59 pm Eastern Standard Time on December 31, 2022. Transcripts must be received by January 11, 2023.
The ARRL Foundation Scholarship Committee will review all applicants for eligibility and award decisions. Scholarship recipients will be notified in May 2023 via USPS mail and email.
